Its elegant and distinguished farm house was build 140 years ago, and refurbished in 2009, keeping the original materials, as well as its rustic, but yet, cozy surroundings along the marvelous landscapes of the highlands.
In addition, Hacienda Hato Verde along its 86 acres of green grass for the use of its vast cattle, guarantees an outstanding production of milk, which is sold in the nearby communities in order to elaborate artisanal cheese, among other traditional products. It is considered one of the few haciendas in the whole country that is strongly compromised with the economic sustainability of the region, as well as, its local economy.
